After Napoleon Hill · Think and Grow Rich, 1937
The 13 principles of
achievement — now automated.
For 25 years Napoleon Hill studied the most successful people alive and distilled how achievement actually works into thirteen principles. They have made more self-made success than any other body of ideas.
Augmented Achiever isn’t inspired by them. It is them — each principle built into a system that runs it for you, around the clock.
Each Principle · Built In
Desire
“The starting point of all achievement.” Not a wish — a definite, burning desire for one specific thing, with every bridge behind you burned.
In Augmented Achiever
Your one goal — said back to you as the single thing that pulls you. The hinge everything else hangs on.
Faith
“Belief is the alchemist of the mind.” Faith is a state you induce — the conviction that the goal is already yours before the proof arrives.
In Augmented Achiever
The Belief Engine — verified proof that real people who started exactly where you are have already reached this goal. Belief you can see, not affirmations.
Auto-Suggestion
The medium for influencing the subconscious: repeat your definite aim, with feeling, until it takes root below conscious thought.
In Augmented Achiever
Your restated goal, front and center every visit — plus weekly reviews that keep the aim in front of you until it becomes identity.
Specialized Knowledge
General knowledge is nearly useless. Power comes from knowledge organized and directed toward a definite end — often knowledge you don’t hold yourself.
In Augmented Achiever
AI research agents that fetch exactly the specialized knowledge your goal needs, on demand — every claim source-verified.
Imagination
“The workshop of the mind,” where plans are fashioned. The desire is given shape here first — you must see the finished thing before it exists.
In Augmented Achiever
Your 5-year measurable endpoint — the finished picture made concrete, with a number and a date, so imagination has something exact to hold.
Organized Planning
The crystallization of desire into action. A definite plan, executed — and when one plan fails, replaced at once with another.
In Augmented Achiever
The Year-1 backcast — your goal broken into a precise quarter-by-quarter sequence, replanned the moment reality shifts.
Decision
The mastery of procrastination. Successful people decide promptly and change their minds slowly; the opposite is the habit of the defeated.
In Augmented Achiever
Priority Intelligence — the system names your single most important next action, so deciding what to do is already done for you.
Persistence
“The sustained effort necessary to induce faith.” The one quality that outlasts every temporary defeat — most people quit at the first sign of it.
In Augmented Achiever
Your AI team works the top 20% around the clock — the effort never lapses, even on the days your own willpower does.
The Master Mind
The coordination of two or more minds, in perfect harmony, toward a definite purpose. No one achieves greatly alone.
In Augmented Achiever
Your team of the world’s best minds — belief, execution, and research, in harmony, focused on your one goal.
Transmutation
The switching of your most powerful drives — desire, love, passion — away from lower ends and into the creative work of the goal.
In Augmented Achiever
You stay in creative, inspired energy; the engine absorbs the draining overhead. Your best energy goes into the work that only you can do.
The Subconscious Mind
The connecting link — it acts on the dominating thoughts you feed it, for good or ill, whether or not you direct it deliberately.
In Augmented Achiever
Every verified win becomes visible evidence of your capability — the proof your subconscious needs to rewrite what it believes you are.
The Brain
A broadcasting and receiving station for thought. Stimulated by a definite aim and a Master Mind, it tunes to ideas it otherwise never receives.
In Augmented Achiever
The AI Coach — a mind to think with between sessions, that breaks indecision and surfaces the idea you couldn’t reach alone.
The Sixth Sense
“The door to the temple of wisdom.” The apex principle — available only after the other twelve are mastered, when hunches and inspiration begin to arrive on their own.
In Augmented Achiever
What emerges once the system is running: with the fog gone and momentum compounding, you start to know your next move before you can explain why.
The Method Hill Insisted On
Every principle begins with one written statement.
Hill called them the Six Steps to Riches. Desire alone is not enough — it has to be made definite, put on paper, and burned into the subconscious by repetition. This is where achievement starts.
- 1
Fix in your mind the exact thing you desire. Be definite as to the amount.
- 2
Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for it.
- 3
Establish a definite date by which you intend to possess it.
- 4
Create a definite plan, and begin at once — whether you are ready or not.
- 5
Write out a clear, concise statement of all four.
- 6
Read your statement aloud, twice daily — morning and night — and see, feel, and believe yourself already in possession.
The practice
Write your Definite Chief Aim
Hill’s single most important instruction. Complete his four steps, and the app writes them into the exact statement he prescribed — the one you read aloud, morning and night, until belief becomes conviction.
Hill’s instruction: read it twice daily, and as you read, see and feel and believe yourself already in possession of it. Nothing is required of you but to see the thing as already done. Your statement is saved privately in this browser.
The team that runs the principles
You’ve written the aim.
Now let the system carry it.
Hill’s reader had to build their own Master Mind, gather their own knowledge, and hold their own persistence. You don’t. That’s the whole point.
